W/N UW Solo - Almost Too Easy
i was inspired by Racthoh's W/N build, so i improvised my own, and i find this build to be extremely easy to run.
Skills:
Gladiators Defense
Disciplined Stance
Shield Stance
Bonetti's Defense
Dolyak Signet
Enfeeble
Price of Failure
Healing Signet
Attributes:
10+4 Tactics
10+1 Strength
11 Curses
Equipment:
Any Wand
-2/45 Stance CC Shield
Best Absortion Rune you have
Best Vigor rune you have
now, you probably think ive gone overboard on stances, but i need to always be in a stance, since Price of Failure will be my main damage dealer.
running this build is extremely simple: aggro only a pair of aataxes at a time, but make it so that only 1 is attacking you, using the stairs on either side as blockers, like so:
you might be familiar with this if you did racthoh's build before
then, hit dolyak signet, shield stance, caste, enfeeble, and then start casting Price of Failure. Since PoF has a 3 second casting time, you always want to hit enfeeble first as bait. but regardless, this happens all too often:
the numbers might be big, but dont worry too much. just hit healing signet, and since PoF only has 10 second recharge but Savage is 20, just start casting it again without worry.
now its as simple as alternating between stances, hitting bonetti's whever you need energy, and casting PoF, Enfeeble, and Healing Signet, the last 2 as often as possible but PoF only after a bonetti's since it has a large energy cost.
remember: always have stances up and do not end stances until they start blinking, with the exception of bonetti's if you want to heal.
for later aggroes, use the side of staircases to line the aataxes up:
its that easy.
if you have any questions, feel free to pm me anytime im online

So i would just aggro the gasping darknesses and then hit Gladiators def + Dolyak O.o ?
Edit: Woa, just tryed vs the gasps.. And Omg its easy O.o did they do like 0 dmg ^^ too bad i got wasted cus the conor i found to fight some aatxe in was so big that 2 aatxes could hit me at the same time.. and then a group of Gasps came along too <.< .. But a great guide

Grasping use Flurry, so they're doing about 0-1 damage every time without defense boosts.
Gladiators -> Bonetti's -> Gladiator's -> Bonettis... along those lines.

Would it kill them any faster if you added Reckless Haste in the build?

hm, you could take out enfeeble i suppose, but im worried about energy then, since im still cramped a bit for energy even as it is. and anyways, i dont have factions yet ><, so if someone could test this out it would be awesome

How long does it take to finish one run and normally how many ectos do you get?

I'm interested in both Yours and Rachtoh's builds. And I have been meaning to try both of them, but currently my computer is getting some upgrades. But I dont want to claim my self as a solo UW War expert but I was wondering if instead of price of failure you could take Plague Touch. That way you can transfer the deep wound and bleeding (if you dont use deadly riposte like in this build). That way with the deep wound off it'll be easier to maintain hp and faster to kill the Aatxe's. Only bad thing about Plague Touch would be its uselessness after the Aatxes. Anyway just wondering if that would work.

Aatxes have "monster-only mending" so bleeding doesn't do squat to them damage wise.

I realize they have natural regen-- with this build transfering the bleeding will kill off that natural regen making them easier to kill --- + deep wound would (i think) help them die faster.

Racto figured out glads defence (if you read this racto get thinking on what he was using) and warriors could be the new 55's
